Clare co-founded the Shakespeare Institute of Nevada and has worked extensively in the Clark County schools, parks, and Lake Las Vegas for over 10 years. Her memorable roles include Lady Macbeth (Macbeth), Titania (Midsummer Night’s Dream), and Gertrude (Hamlet). Her role as Estella in The Father won her critical acclaim before she relocated to Provo in 2019 with her husband and daughter.
Mark and Barbara Pankhurst spearheaded a not-for-profit organization to promote the Arts in the Turks and Caicos Islands in 2002 – Turks & Caicos Friends of the Arts Foundation (TCFAF). Over the years, TCFAF has produced over 60 original performances using local and international artists and has raised more than $500,000, all of which has been used to provide facilities, scholarships, instruments, educational opportunities, and training in the Performing and Visual Arts for the children of the islands. Sadly their ventures ended in 2019 but we are delighted to revive their legacy with the new TCI Arts Foundation and continue to entertain all the people of Turks and Caicos.
